We are proud to offer a research fellowship in spine surgery under the direction of Dr. Roger Härtl, Director of Neurosurgery Spine, Weill Cornell Medicine, and Co-Director of NewYork-Presbyterian Och Spine. The fellowship includes training in cutting-edge research involving minimally invasive spinal procedures, navigation technologies, and augmented reality.
The fellowship, which is a one- or two-year position, offers an intensive, full-time, immersion into the world of minimally invasive spine surgery for candidates who are in, or have successfully completed, a neurological surgery or orthopedic surgery residency training or comparable training in research.
As a research fellow, you will have the exciting opportunity to build a curriculum of top research publications at NewYork-Presbyterian Och Spine, one of the leading spine centers in the world. You will present your work at conferences, write publications, and be involved in all our other exciting activities, including the NYC-MISS course that we have hosted every year in New York for more than 16 years.
We typically recruit candidates for this fellowship more than one year in advance of the start date. We are currently recruiting for a candidate to start this year, in 2023.
For more information about the fellowship, contact Dr. Roger Härtl: (212) 746-2152 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
