Dr, Kai-Ming Fu, Director of the Spinal Deformity and Scoliosis Program as well as Chief of Neurosurgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan, was elected as a new member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Neurosurgery: Spine, a publication of the Journal of Neurosurgery Publishing Group. This prestigious position gives Dr. Fu the responsibility of reviewing articles for this preeminent journal in the field of spinal neurosurgery.
The Journal of Neurosurgery Publishing Group was founded in 1944 and is the publications arm of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS). The JNS is recognized worldwide and is the most highly cited journal in neurosurgery. It features original works in neurosurgery as well as studies in clinical neuropsychology, ophthalmology, organic neurology, radiology, molecular biology, and pathology.
