Principles and Techniques of Complex Spinal Reconstruction

This two-day workshop — part didactic, part hands-on — reviews the most common complex spine techniques. The course starts with afternoon case presentations on Friday. Saturday begins with morning lectures in which internationally renowned faculty present their experience with different techniques for complex spine pathologies. Following the lectures, the course participants go to the Weill Cornell Medical College Anatomy Lab for the hands-on part of the course. At six different stations, each with at least one faculty member, participants review the procedures and then perform them on the cadavers. Tips, suggestions, and surgical pearls are discussed during their experience.
