Global Health

The Weill Cornell Medicine global neurosurgical health initiative began in Tanzania and has rapidly expanded to include many other underserved nations, including Antigua, Peru, Mexico and, most recently, Senegal. Our neurosurgeons are leaders on the world stage, expanding access, delivering quality care around the globe and adhering to our philosophy that training is more effective than charity — we believe the most successful programs lead to self-sufficiency.
