Medical Student Fellowship

Weill Cornell Neurosurgery Medical Student Fellowship

The Weill Cornell Medical Student Neurosurgery Fellowship Program allows medical students to explore research careers in pediatric neuro-oncology, based on an investigative platform with a primary focus on Central Nervous System (CNS) tumors in children. Research may be translational, basic-scientific or clinical and requires a sponsor with a full-time faculty appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center or Rockefeller University. Weill Cornell Medicine Graduate School Neuroscience Program courses are also integrated into the year-long program. Applicants must be in good academic standing at an accredited medical school in North America and willing to take one year off from their formal academic schedule. The fellowship may be conducted any time after a student has completed a minimum of two years of medical college.
