Observational and Research Spine Surgery Fellowship

We offer a three-month, non-clinical, minimally invasive spinal surgery and navigation research fellowship, under the direction of Dr. Roger Härtl, neurological surgery professor and chief of spinal surgery and neurotrauma at the Weill Cornell Medicine Brain & Spine Center.

This fellowship provides the opportunity for observation of our spinal team, specializing in advanced, minimally invasive surgical treatment techniques for a wide range of spinal conditions, including:

  • Herniated discs.
  • Spinal stenosis.
  • Spinal compression fractures.
  • Scoliosis.
  • Ankylosing spondylitis.
  • Radiculopathy.
  • Spondylolisthesis.

Application

We typically recruit candidates for this fellowship one year or more in advance of the start date. Fellowships typically run March-May, June-August, September-November and December-February.
