Our medical student program is a robust collaboration between academic affairs personnel and the Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) student chapter of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS). We boast a thriving medical student community and provide ample opportunities for career exploration, mentorship, research, and entry-level training that optimally prepares our students for the transition to residency training.
AANS Medical Student Initiatives
WCM students have developed one of the most active AANS medical student chapters in the world. This group pioneered our signature Medical Student Neurosurgical Boot Camp, among other initiatives.
