Dr. Alexandra Giantini Larsen

Dr. Alexandra Giantini Larsen, who is completing her fourth year of neurosurgical residency at NewYork-Presbyterian and Weill Cornell Medicine, has been selected by the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) as the Neurosurgery Publications Deputy Resident Fellow for 2023-2024. Dr. Giantini Larsen will serve along with Dr. Ali M. Alawieh, selected as this year’s Resident Fellow. This is the first time the CNS has chosen two residents to serve as Resident Fellows.

Andrew Garton, MD

Dr. Andrew Garton, a fourth-year resident in neurosurgery and current enfolded fellow in interventional neuroradiology, has been awarded a Resident Traveling Fellowship in Pediatric Neurosurgery by the AANS/CNS Joint Pediatric Section. Dr. Garton will spend one month at the end of this year at the Boston Children’s Hospital under the mentorship of Dr. Edward R. Smith and Dr. Alfred Pokmeng See.
