It’s entirely appropriate on this National Women Physicians Day that we announce the promotion of Dr. Susan Pannullo to full professor.  With this appointment, Dr. Pannullo becomes the first woman to be named a professor of neurosurgery at Weill Cornell Medicine, and one of the few full professors of neurosurgery in the United States.

Dr. Hussain Performs First 3D-Navigation-Guided Endoscopic Lumbar Fusion in New York City

Dr. Ibrahim Hussain achieved a spine surgery milestone when he performed the first 3D navigation-guided endoscopic lumbar fusion (transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion, or TLIF) ever performed in New York City in late 2022, becoming one of the few surgeons in the United States performing this procedure. The surgery was successful, and the patient is doing extremely well.
